Hi Guys,

Thanks soo much to this site..
I have been on and off diets before and exercise routines but always got discouraged because of no motivation.
10 years ago I was 49 - 51 kilos (23 years old)... But after 2 kids now 33 years old I have put on around 20 kilos..
I dont think it will be good for me to be 50 kilos again.. might look too thin.. so 60 will just be right..
Need to lose at least 10 kilos by the new Year...
My skin is not soo good too... need to drink more water...

Start tomorrow.... :P

8th November - 72 kilos (Current Weight)
13th of November Target - 70 kilos
20th of November Target - 68 kilos
27th of November Target -66 kilos
4th of December Target - 64 kilos
11th of December Target -62 kilos
18th of December Target -60 kilos

G'day and welcome Ann

It's great that you have made the decision to lose that excess weight, but you may be being a bit ambitious with the 2kg per week - don't get too disheartened if you only lose one kg, it just means it might take an extra month or two :( Stick with it!

How tall are you? ... and what strategy do you have to lose the weight?

It's a great place here, full of supportive and inspirational people.

End of April - 115kg
End of May - 111kg
End of June - 107kg
End of July - 103kg
End of August - 99kg
End of September - 95kg
End of October - 91kg
End of year - 81kg TARGET WEIGHT - Optimistic

Thanks for that..
Yes I know I am being too ambitious... But because of my past experiences.. if I will not make an ambitious goal I know I will
get slack sometime... I'm worried I will not push myself...
So better to goal higher and if I only lose a kilo a week then I will be fine with that..
I'm 160cm tall..

Will keep you updated of my progress..

Strategy... all these except Friday nights

1 hour cross trainer exercise / day
2 fruits a day
5 portions of veges / day
no carbo (I am a filipino so this will be very hard)
no food after 5PM (might have fruit sticks or apple)
8 glasses of water a day
snacks will be fruit sticks
I usually sleeps at 11:30 at night.. so will start at 10PM from tonight wake up 6:30...

Friday night is my reward night...I have to eat any food as this is our weekly gathering... so will have rice here...

Hope this will get me there.. I have heard if you dont have a lot to lose it will take longer... I have that in mind... but will just try and see how I go... I am already inspired everytime I log in here... so many stories that I can use to push myself...

Been good today. 30 minutes cross trainer in the morning, cereal for breakky, fruits and fruit sticks for lunch
fish and vege soup at 4pm for dinner... and 30 minutes of cross trainer at 8pm...
Now going to sleep at 10PM...

I think I am on the way to losing weight this time.. hope that this motivation will keep going...
