Unknowns Weigh In

I've been overweight for quite a few years now and I've finally decided to lose some of it. I've tried multiple times in the past only to give up after a few days so I've given myself a small and easy task: lose at least 1KG a week.

It's not a lot but time goes fast.

February 13th: 127.7 KG
February 20th: 125.6 KG / loss of 2.1KG
February 27th: 124.6 KG / loss of 1KG

Next weigh in on March 6th.

March 6th: 123.2 KG / loss of 1.2KG

I'll try and push for at least 2KG next week. Pretty confident now that I'm seeing the results that I want. :)

Didn't think I'd get this, I ate quite a lot of junk food and other unhealthy snacks throughout the week. Surprisingly I still managed to lose 1KG, which I'm happy with. It's now been 1 month since I started losing weight, too!

February 13th: 127.7 KG
February 20th: 125.6 KG / weekly loss of 2.1KG
February 27th: 124.6 KG / weekly loss of 1KG
March 6th: 123.2 KG / weekly loss of 1.4KG
March 13th:122.2 KG / weekly loss of 1KG

Starting Weight: 127.7 KG
Current Weight: 122.2 KG

5.5KG lost in first month. Happy with that.

March 20th: 121.8 KG / loss of 0.4KG

Not much but at least it's something. I'm hugely surprised that I even lost any weight this week, I was expecting to gain some. Gonna have to try much harder next week.

Been busy the last couple of weeks so I haven't had any time to exercise and I haven't been watching what I eat. Missed out on March 27th's weigh-in and I may miss out on next weeks (though I will be exercising and watching what I eat).

March 27th: --

April 3rd: 121.8 KG / weekly loss of 0.0KG

Sadly I didn't lose any weight over the past 2 weeks, but I didn't gain any either.

Been away for a little while so I couldn't weigh myself on the 10th but I got to on the 17th. A 4.2KG in a fortnight - VERY happy with that. Amount lost is now 10.1 KG. :D

April 3rd: 121.8 KG

April 10th: --

April 17th: 117.6 KG / loss of 4.2KG

It's been almost 4 months since my last weigh in. I gave up for no reason, even though I was losing weight.

I've decided to continue losing weight again and hopefully this time I won't give up. :)

My previous weigh in:
April 17th: 117.6 KG

This weeks:
July 31st: 117.6 KG

I was certainly not expecting this. I went back to all my old habits: not watching what I ate, etc, yet I didn't gain any weight. I can continue exactly where I gave up, lol!

1 month later - I pretty much gave up straight away. <.< However, I have been a bit more active the past week.

September 4th: 116.6 KG / loss of 1.0 KG

Better than nothing! I'll be trying harder from now on.

Just think of how much better you will feel once you lose the weight! its SO easy to give up, and so hard to persist. Start taking some omeaga 3's. they'll surpress your apetite. Even do the new "swapper".

Instead of going large go small. change the portion size and ignore the stomach cravings. You can do it!

Well done on your weight loss so far :)

If you're exercising and you enjoy it (and if you don't, find something you do enjoy) then if you fall of the wagon in the eating department, just keep up with the exercise as at least it is something. And quite often once you're into exercise and enjoying it, you're more likely to stay on at least a half decent eating track. From time to time I give myself a break from super healthy eating, otherwise I know I will binge and won't be able to get back on track, but I just keep up the exercise and I have not suffered any major weight gain damage so far!

I have had a slow and steady weight loss so far. It has been over the course of 5 months but it is slow and steady wins the race as I need to follow something that I can maintain...not just a quick fix of dietary torture for a month then eat all the crap that made me overweight to start with!
