Great to see you back on the horse and ready to see this thing to the end.
I never tried to lose weight except for the one time that I did.
I always said to myself that if I was going to lose weight that I would not play at it but just do it.
The understanding in my head was that weight loss meant real permanent change in my life.
The cost of that change had to be well accounted and probably why I waited until my 5th decade to do so.
The "pointy" end of the journey is very tough and it takes real grit to push that last 5 kilos or so off but it is really worth it.
It forges your character and is the crucible that underscores how important it is not to let yourself go back.
It is hard enough getting to the end without the bother to do it over and over again.
As I say to my friends...I'm keeping it off - I'm far to lazy to gain it/lose it/gain it/lose it - once is enough!
You've learnt something very important to your future success.
Now is the time to capitalise on it and win through.
Wishing you all the best on your better future!
