Hey babylove!

I haven't locked in a set weigh in day yet... I'm kind of just playing it by ear and doing it approx once a week. Would you recommend a set day? :)

I weighed myself this morning and I'm already down 1 kilo!

Current weight: 88kg.

Even though it's not much, it's the start of something big! :)

Hi again! Congrats on your loss. I picked sunday its my rest day and anniversary of when I started. I jump on the scales each morning as a reminder to make good choices for the day, but sundays the official weigh in. I will report here and adjust my weight loss ticker.

Today's weigh in: 88kg.

No weight loss this week! I have exercised 6 days a week this week and eaten really carefully/well. I'm sitting on 1200 calories a day and somedays I even eat a little less. I do 20 mins Zumba every second day and a 40 min workout at the gym every other (have been doing this for 2 weeks now with total weight loss at 1kg thus far)...:(

Does anyone have any ideas about why I have not lost this week? Feeling a little discouraged after a solid start...

Although, my clothes are fitting better, and my boyfriend has said I LOOK better. Is it possible for me to have still been successful this week without anything showing on the scales?

Any advice/knowledge would be great!

Thanks,
PennyLane

Turns out I jumped the gun too soon... today's weight: 87kg, so I did lose this week!

Feeling really great! Still, answers to the questions regarding weight loss vs scales would be much appreciated if anyone has an insight.

Thanks! :)

Hi Pennylane,

Congrats on the loss...

It could be that you are building muscle - which of course weighs more, so the scales may not show a loss as muscle replaces fat???

It's been a couple of weeks since I signed in but that doesn't mean I haven't been working my butt off! Quite the contrary.

I've joined my local YMCA gym, kept to eating healthy and cut down on alcohol.

Today's weight: 85kg

I've lost 4kg in total now, and although it's a slow and steady burn, I'm feeling fantastic!! :)
