BreakingFree's Weekly Weigh Ins

Postby breakingfree » Mon Feb 20, 2012 11:19 pm

Ive been reading everyone's weight loss journeys the past few days. They are all so inspiring I've decide to join this forum, it's great!

I'm a 32 year old mummy of 3.

Towards the end of 2010 I had somehow ballooned to about 104kgs. I did a health kick and got down to 85kgs. I felt amazing. Then I forgot to look after myself, running around after my family. So I'm back on track now, started 8th Feb, and feeling good! I have 30kgs to lose.

Week 1 weigh in: 3.6kgs

Week 2 weigh in: 90kgs. So a 2lg loss this week, fantastic!

No tips, I'm still trying to figure it all out. I'm not following any diet plan, I'm just staying away from carbs and not eating that much.

Week 3 weigh in today - 2.8kgs. VERY happy with that as my goal this week was 2kgs.

Apart from cleaning the house non stop and running around after 3 kids (2 school aged and one little one at home with me) I haven't really done any cardio at all. I am waiting on my husband to hire me a treadmill. I really enjoyed going to the gym last time I was on my health kick, but I figured if I got one for the house maybe I could encourage my husband to go on there a bit too

Ive been doing stomach crunches and leg and bum exercises every night for about 30 mins or so. Sometimes I do 30 in the early evening and then one before bed.

Feeling good, much more organised around the house, have set myself a new organisation mission every day to keep me active. Its been raining the past week so stuck indoors with toddler.

How is everyone this week?

Hey guys how's everyone going? I'm so amazed by such rapid weightloss breaking free, u r amazing! I was saying today, I've hit .5kg to go til I've lost 20kg, which I think is great, but cos I've done it over 2 years pretty much no one has noticed. BUT, I'm feeling better and that's what is important, that and being able to run around with my daughter without getting puffed after 30 seconds. Hope everyone is on track! I made a big effort tonight by leaving my chilled wine in the fridge today, so I'll b up early for an 8km jog instead of hungover!! yay :) V
Cheers to healthy decisions :D
