I spent $230 on my joggers :P I have a bad ankle though so I just went for the comfort aspect over the price aspect so they wouldn't make my feet hurt :)

With 4 kids and being a single income family $230 is not an option!! $50 is flat out being an option. Don't get me wrong we live comfortably but $50 can go toward school things or other bills so I feel some what bad for spending it on myself, but I worked hard and deserve a reward! Buy if you can afford it and they help your ankle hell why not :)

SW 3/10/12 86KG

10/10/12 - 84.5KG loss of 1.5 kg

17/10/12 - 83.4KG loss of 1.1kg

24/10/12 - 82.5 loss of 0.9kg

31/10/12 - 81.4 loss of 1.1kg

7/11/12 - 80.0 loss of 1.4kg

14/11/12 - 79.9 loss of 100g

Hmmm.... Totally gutted but no one to blame but myself for this. Oh well at least I see the 70s if only just but after my week I'm lucky it's not a gain. I live I learn.

Focus on what you have achieved now. You are living in the 70's now! The rest of it will come. The week before was a real good solid number, so you have to expect some even out while your body is adjusting itself. You have well and truly earnt your joggers, now get them on and run to the victory of your final goal! :D

We are building a better healthier lifestyle. Every day we learn something new about ourselves. When we stop learning that's when we slide and get into permanent trouble. Keep learning and growing your character and you will have that better future that you want.

You are doing well, keep it going.

Thanks Guys :) as always such encouraging support <3

Kim- I have learnt a lot this week. Lesson one - saying just one splurge won't hurt actually does hurt lesson two- feeling down about one bad choice quickly leads to more bad choices. Lesson three - I eat out of pure boredom. Lesson four- I really really really want to lose this weight. Never been so disappointed seeing those numbers this morning.

I need to remember these lessons next week and the week after and the week after that.

I have lived I have learned. I'm in the 70s and the only way is down!! Keep an eye on this space! I pledge to myself to walk twice a day everyday this week. Next Wednesday I will be proudly displaying a loss :)

I've been reading a book about different ways different people have lost weight successfully. They have all found different solutions that worked for them. The only thing that they have in common is that they changed their lifestyle from an unhealthy one to a healthy one in a way that suited their individual needs.

A lot of weight loss solutions are about giving you ready made answers. They give you fish to eat but you soon run out of fish, to put it as a metaphor. This forum is about teaching you how to fish. Learning the skills is harder but having it means we will never be without fish. You are learning the skills that will lead to permanent weight loss. It is harder but anything worthwhile is worth the effort.

These lessons that you have learned are going to pay off big time soon.

Thanks :) and I really hope so!! 75.0 will mean I've lost 11kgs. And with going to see family over Christmas I'm hoping that its noticable to those I haven't seen in a while!! Lol

Funny enough I'm not to worried about over eating Christmas Day we usually have lots of salad, seafood and turkey or chicken so will be just about portion control which I find easy now after more then a month of eating smaller meals I feel fuller quicker. My only shameful sin will be trifle but I know ahead of time so will allow for it in my calourie intake.

Tegan

Good work, that's a good weigh in even if you don't think so. You're on track...so keep going and that goal is yours.
