Fabulous! :D

So close to 10kg loss! You must be feeling like a million dollars. Well done. Onwards and upwards (....better make that downwards!).

Thanks for the encouragement guys! For some reason I was really down and nervous getting on the scales, and then was in total shock!! Nice that it was good shock!! haha

I've hit my first goal (to get under 90kgs) ... next one is to hit 10kg (very close to that one!)

Being called an inspiration is so lovely, and it kinda pushes me to continue on this path so thank you so much for that :) xxxx

OK, I wasnt going to weigh in today as I've been away camping and drank far too much (didn't eat anything I shouldn't thought!) but I couldn't resist!

Initially I'd gained 300g, and as that took me back up into the 90s I couldn't let it stay that way ... so after a few toilet trips (sorry TMI I know!!) and a few more weigh ins, I got it down to 100g loss, so thats the one I'm recording!! haha

Gotta work hard this week to pull a good loss and get back on track. Not that I'm off track, because normally if I've gone away camping, and not been on Lite n Easy (which I wasn't this week because of going away) I'd have had a massive gain I'm sure (not that I actually know that to be true because I hid from the scales for 4 years!! hahah)

Anyway ... I'm recording a 100g loss!!!! :)

Good on ya, Rach! That is some great willpower all the same! It is very hard to eat well when you're away, it's so easy to just slip into the same habits as everyone else and say "bugger it!" So glad you didn't though! And even though you had some drinks, we all have a weekend off every now and then. Don't feel guilty to the point of obsession, just say to yourself "I had a great weekend but I didn't pull a big loss so I am back on track now and downwards again!"

Besides, you have to realise that these events and drinks and bad food will happen every now and then, even when you're losing weight and even after that when you're maintaining. We have to accept that sometimes we have an indulgent weekend away or go out to dinner. The best thing we can do is just enjoy LESS of those good things, cut down the portions of bad food so we don't want to cry the next day :P Set yourself limits and stick them out. In the long run I think having a little bit of something amazing makes it even more of a treat!

Anyway, rambling! A loss is a loss, no matter how small  You are going to pull epic numbers next week! Downward we go! :)

You missed getting hit by the bus this week!

To save yourself the stress you have to start thinking of ways to minimalise situations like this. What are the healthy options for camping? How can you stop or minimalise temptation while camping? How can you transfer calories and portion sizes of your prepared meals to real world meals? What camping activities can you engage in that will give exercise? These are a few of the questions you can ask yourself.

Ah! the old toilet trick at weigh in. We have all been there. Not best practice and if you're not careful you will end up with hemorrhoids. Try going on an exercise bike for 20 to 30 minutes instead. That will reduce fluid through sweat and you'll end up burning a few calories as well.

At least this result is better than going backwards. Keep working it and have a killer next week!

Thanks guys. I'm actually not disappointed at all given that I lost 2.1kgs last week (which came out of nowhere!) so it all evens out.

I also probably (definitely actually) ate less while camping than when I'm on Lite n Easy. I walked everyday and only had wine one night so all in all I'm very happy :)

I'm confident that in around 5 months time, I will be at my goal weight. No rush though! This is a lifestyle change not a quick fix :)

Great job! You've got to feel good about that number. :D Keep going; don't stop now!

How did you cope with those barbies? Did you have a plan or did you cross your fingers, hold your breath, closed your eyes and said a prayer as you went in?
