Sounds like you've got it all under control. Bodes well for the maintainance side of this lifestyle change. :D

Watch that Easter rabbit though...make sure he gives you quality and not quantity.

Simon you're doing this weight loss thing with real style. 8)

Happy Easter to you and yours

Hi all, been a couple of weeks since I have been here and haven't really "weighed in", any how, I was 85.5Kgs this morning and have pretty much called this race run. I am pretty happy with where I am at the moment, my initial goal was 90Kgs, then 87 and then I wash going to push for 85, "push" being the operative word. I must say that I feel great, I have dropped a heap of clothes sizes, 82cm pants where I was wearing 107cm not so long ago. I have dropped just on 22Kgs or 48 pounds, I have a heap more energy and am enjoying life a lot more.

I am not going anywhere, I am going to hang around and maintain and help others where I can, who knows, I may still get to 82Kgs some day :D

Have a great day all!

Been around a month since I was last here and I will continue to pop in from time to time to see how everyone is doing and get inspiration from the amazing people that frequent this site. Anyway, over the last month I haven't been diet focussed at all but have just continued to do the things that I think are right, I guess I wasn't ever really dieting as much as embarking on a lifestyle change. The lifestyle change has agreed with me and I am enjoying my life a whole lot better than I was.

I weighed in this morning at 84.9kgs, so around half a kilo down on a month ago, I am happy with that considering I am not trying to lose weight anymore, so it is now 22.3kgs or 49 pounds lost since I started this journey, I may still see what 82kgs feels like but I am not pushing it, maybe I should lose another half kilo so that I can say that I dropped 50 pound!

Will try and post some before, during and after pics if I can work out how, hope everyone else is keeping well and pushing toward their goals!

There's always another round number to reach for. I caught myself thinking the other day that if I had lost 3 kilos more it would have made it an even 90 kilo loss. Never mind the fact that it would have taken me ages longer to reach and would have reduced me to skin and bone! It is what it is.

Enjoy the new life and lifestyle! Not only are you now doing stuff and benefits that you only dreamed about but you have/will discover all the other good things that weren't even on your radar. Enjoy that better future and keep your guard up to make sure it is permanent. :D

Wow, been a while since I was last here. I am proud to say that so far I am keeping the weight off with it fluctuating between 85 and 87Kgs, I was 86.2kg's this morning and have never felt happier or healthier. In the next couple of weeks I am going to up the ante a little and have a crack at 82Kg's just to see what it feels like. I am in no hurry to get there and will do the little things required to slowly peel off another 4 - 5kg's. I am back because in find the site and the people amazing and motivational. I hope everyone else here is enjoying their own journey, good to be back! (Never thought I would say that!)

Hey all. reading back on your old threads can be motivational and fun, I realised that it is just on a year since I started losing weight and am happy to report that do far I have maintained the loss. I still weigh myself every day and weighed in this morning at 87kgs. I find that my weight fluctuates between around 86kgs and 87.5kgs, I am pretty happy with that and am feeling as fit and healthy as I ever have, I think the lowest I went was around 85kgs and no matter how hard I tried I could not maintain it, it was kind of like my body was protesting. Anyway, I have decided that I am going to slowly try and get to 85kgs again, but I am going to take it slow and have given myself basically 10 weeks to get there, a loss of 200g per week should give my body time to adjust and get used to the changes. It is great to see that there are so many motivated people still sticking to their guns and plans are are acheiving their goals.... keep at it guys, the reward for effort is fantastic.

Great to be back, have a great day all.

Welcome back Simon. People drift in and out depending how they are going but as Blitz says....some are licking their wounds.
You sound like you have it all under control which is great.....200g per week is such a great goal, good for you.
Look forward to your 10 week progress reports.
Cheers

Great to see that things are going well for you. :D

Those last few kilos are the toughest. It took me two months to lose those last two kilos and when I began I was losing ten kilos a month!

You will discover a good natural place as your sit weight as your body settles. You will discover that your body will reshape itself to suit "normal". When I stopped losing weight I got my bottom was less boney and my fingers became thinner.
