I'm back!!!! I have found my motivation after 4 terrible months, I am ready to get back on the wagon so to speak.
Since I was last here, my husband and I have bought our first home. An amazing appartment which is definitely the worst house in the best street. We have also undertaken full renovation of the place which we have done all ourselves and are about half way through it. It been a lot of hard work, but also a lot of bad eating and no formal exercise.
As a result, I come to my bad news...
Since moving house my scales are not working reliably, but I think I am weighing in at around 85kgs
my clothes feel tighter, and I just feel fat and gross. I have lost a lot of self confidence.
So this week I started being conscious of what I am eating. Yesterday I went for a walk after work, and boy did I feel it. I ran the first 500m which is a gentle downward slope, and then walked the rest, probably about 3kms all up.
I am so sore today so I will take today off, but will go again tomorrow. Also my mum has joined a local gym and has given me a free week pass which I am going to take up. I don't think I would sustain a gym membership long term, but I will use it as a week to give myself a boost.
