The migraine is probably from the sugar overload from the chocolate bunny. Your body isn't use to that kind of rubbish anymore - so give it respect!

Was the 40 push-ups motivated by the guilt of the chocolate? Keep turning your walk into a run and you'll see great results. :D

I know it is hard work climbing back on the horse...but keep at it and you'll achieve your dreams.

Kim, the choc bunny may have had something to do within, although I do get regular migraines which sucks.

Today I weighed in at 80.9kgs. Yay finally some movement in my numbers!

I also had a bit of a break through in my mind this morning. That I CAN lose this weight and be who I want to be. I've already had great success and the only thing stopping me from getting more is me.
I know what I need. To do,I just have to do it!
I feel great, and Focused today.

I WILL SUCCEED!

Good one!...keep the momentum going! :D

The real battle is what is happening in the space between the ears. You are absolutely right...success begats success...ride that thought all the way to victory! :D Belief in yourself is so very important. Go for it!

Well tonight is our first night of low carb/ carb free dinners.
I've decided I need to make some small changes in my diet, so I'm aiming to (as much as possible) avoid carbohydrates in the evening. It means breaking our trends for dinners. We tend to eat a lot of pasta, bread, rice, and potato.

So tonight we had grilled barramundi with chilli, coriander and garlic.
Steamed asparagus and tomato, cucumber, avocado and red onion salsa.
It was delicious!

I've also rediscovered porridge for breaky, yum!
And lunch was turkey and salad wrap. I'm loving all this fresh food.

Did my walk and tried a little run again this morning.

Kim, I agree, but my super expensive runners are super slippery when it's wet. I have fallen over before in them on a wet day and have a huge scar and a big hole in The knee of my favorite leggings to remind me.

Tonight is night 2 of thoughtful dinners.
We had herb crusted lean pork butterfly steak. With fresh corn, pumpkin and eggplant.

Rain is gone and I did an awesome walk this morning and a little run too!

Weight today 80.5kgs. I'm hoping to be below 80 by this time next week.
I'm working hard so it should be achievable.

Tonight I made stuffed baked tomatoes with asparagus, corn, and mushrooms.
The stuffing was lean beef mince, quinoa, carrot and onion. I also seasoned with garlic, chilli, and soy sauce.
Even Hubby loved it!

Keep at it. That is the trouble when you stop...it takes a bit for your mojo to get back in place. Work at the details and the big picture will fall into place. :D

I'm back!!!! I have found my motivation after 4 terrible months, I am ready to get back on the wagon so to speak.
Since I was last here, my husband and I have bought our first home. An amazing appartment which is definitely the worst house in the best street. We have also undertaken full renovation of the place which we have done all ourselves and are about half way through it. It been a lot of hard work, but also a lot of bad eating and no formal exercise.
As a result, I come to my bad news...

Since moving house my scales are not working reliably, but I think I am weighing in at around 85kgs  my clothes feel tighter, and I just feel fat and gross. I have lost a lot of self confidence.
So this week I started being conscious of what I am eating. Yesterday I went for a walk after work, and boy did I feel it. I ran the first 500m which is a gentle downward slope, and then walked the rest, probably about 3kms all up.
I am so sore today so I will take today off, but will go again tomorrow. Also my mum has joined a local gym and has given me a free week pass which I am going to take up. I don't think I would sustain a gym membership long term, but I will use it as a week to give myself a boost.

Welcome back Sophie - how exciting your first home.....it is a great feeling when you first buy and start renovating - then you can't wait for the renos to finish!
We at least you are back before the spring summer season......get started now and you could be down into the 70's by end of year and your clothes will be loose.
Cheers
