Successful weight loss is about diligence - and keeping it off (maintenance) is about vigilance.
A key idea that has helped to keep me on track is the thought that losing, gaining and then re-losing is harder work than just losing and keeping it off. When I was losing weight I realised just what a waste of effort it was to claw back gained weight that I had lost.
The time spent re-losing that weight could have been better spent losing more weight rather than standing still and spinning my tyres.
As a consequence, I made a special effort to make sure that I never let the ground that I gained (or should that be 'lost'?

) slip away from me - daily.
Let's get it back to under 100kg as quick as you can.
You know that you can (because you've done it before)...now do it except this time - keep it off!
