I find a good dose of liquorice soon sorts me out!

"Encouragement works when there's fear invovled" I don't understand this at all. There is fear of change, fear of failure, fear of the unknown, fear of committment and fears of similar ilk but where is the fear involved in encouragement? If anything love and it's fruit - encouragement, are the antidote to fear. "There is no fear in love; perfect love drives out all fear."(Bible).

Today i'm 77kg. This looks like only a 3kg loss since i posted last. But in fact i went up to 85kg and i've been on a cycling trip over the last two months. I lost the weight without actually worrying too much about what i ate. Now i'm home, i'm trying to continue the downward trend and maintain the fitness i got whilst away.

5 September.

Just got back from a ride around the Uluru area. Two weeks or riding and about two weeks of car bus travel and laying about waiting to leave. My new weight now is 73kg. Funny as i hadn't realised i had lost any weight and was feeling a bit sad about that until this morning. But now everyone is telling me that i am looking better.

Glad to hear that you are losing weight. Nothing like an active life full of exercise to keep you trim. Good work. :D

Good work. :D

Setting goals like your 5km run is a great motivator. Nothing like a deadline to get your butt into gear and get as fit as you can. 8)

71kg today.

On Monday i went to my first tai chi class and i rode to it and rode back which took 40 minutes each way. The tai chi was pretty lightweight but it will be nice when i know how to do it properly and i can tell, like zumba, its good for the brain.
