thanks guys who knew 23186 steps converts to 17.6kms. I did this by going on two walks by an hour an a half each and then cleaning two houses, grocery shopping & moving around my house - its amazing how many steps you can log up. today though I have done 18435 steps basically doing the same thing (no grocery shopping). I can't imagine way back when, when I struggled to do a 1000 steps a day & thought 10000 was impossible.

yep kim have those streamers and balloons waiting, 75kg here I come!!!!

The fitness does creep up at you. When you start EVERYTHING is tough going and then one day the realisation sets in just how far you have progressed fitness wise.

Two excellent days...keep rolling it down the hill! 8)

That'd be damn right, pushed the body too hard now I have shin splint in my left leg :x I can't believe it.. Hit the hills with too much gusto not impressed at all I was enjoying the walking & seeing how far I could push guess I did just a Liltoo much at once. Managed to hit 19836 steps yesterday but will need to rest up now iI don't want to damage my leg any further - bugger. Will keep on top of the food & do upper strength weights. Ive got two houses to clean today see if the leg will let me at least go for a stroll

yeah l know the feeling of pushing it too far and in the end you only punish yourself especially if you are laid up for a while and not able to exercise at all..

Push but don't break!...You are no good to yourself if you injury yourself onto the sidelines.
Easy back, recover...and just keep watch on the calorie intake and you should still do ok. :D

:D :D :D :!:

How far can you go?...
What do the height/weight charts reckon?
I knew before I finished reaching goal (I still reached it out of stubborness) that my maintenance sitting weight should be 3 kilos heavier. I read a book a while back where a woman didn't know when to stop. Her husband, family, friends and doctor had to tap her on the shoulder before she got the message. It is hard to call it sometimes. Many people wanted me to stop far to earlier. My doctor was happy when I had just lost 30 kilos...I still had another 57 kilos to go! In the end I stuck to the charts...in the range of healthy weigh for my height I picked two thirds up from the lowest weight.
