hows it all going - gearing up for your run in August - not that far away...
Hiya! All going good. My weight is mostly still off, I had a long weekend away to weipa with a mate that really blew the diet so I've got a little bit of work to get back on track but nothing major. Yes the run is not far away now, I will be no where near fit enough to kick butt in it but I will certainly finish it. I'm looking forward to it!
I actually didn't get to do the run, I was a bit crook. I have however joined my local gym and am actually making the time to go there! I feel good and am floating around 77kgs which I figure is a win considering I have probably put on a little bit of muscle since joining the gym (I wish it showed haha) with summer coming up I have kicked up a notch to try get rid of a bit more belly before beach weather so should sneak back to the 75kgs hopefully. I'll keep reporting in again to give myself the extra motivation to get back there.
I've found that muscles have a bad habit of sneaking up on you. You can't see them coming but they just "suddenly" arrive. Also I've found that the back of the body (upper shoulder area/ calve muscles etc) are where you see the results first. So at the risk of sounding like a bad panto..."its behind you! Its behind you!"
Goal that 75kg in your life...make it important and you'll get it!
