Made it by the skin of my teeth! 75kg seems much easier to assume when I am not in the 80's.

a HUGE congrats to you - woohoo. only 4.9kg to go, you are sooo close :D

80.1 this week but didn't have the strictest diet week. It would have been nice to stay under 80 but I am confident I'll be back under next week. I went for a 5km run this morning as punishment haha.

Not a huge gain at all Matt, don't be too concerned about it. Just make sure you pay extra attention this week and keep it in the 70's for good! Nice work on going for a run this morning too!

Great work Matt, just read through your thread.. You started basically same time as me and you've done what you wanted by getting back into those 70's.. Keep it up..

hey Matt,

do you like challenges???? i'm thinking lets challenge each other to see who can get to under 75kg first. over the last two weeks I've gone from "yeah I can do this" to "maybe I look alright the way I am" - need a kick up the butt (am sitting here eating a strawberry/white crumble magnum). I go for a walk nearly every day but you know I have lost the get up and go... so am thinking a challenge might just be what I need - what do you say????

Yep too easy!

You'll probably kick my butt as working long days leaves me very little time to exercise but I'll definitely do my best! I'm really hoping for a 78.something this week, that will help my motivation!

Let the challenge begin!

LW 79.2
TW 78.6

I'm very happy if I can keep dropping 1/2kg a week. I am feeling much better in myself, and I am starting to see a difference in the mirror, mainly in my face but my gut is definitely reducing. My clothes aren't getting baggy yet but mind you some of them were a squeeze to get into! Haha.

oiiii slow down Charlie, you are going to beat my butt to the 75kg goal. I don't weigh in until Tuesday morning, am not holding out much of a loss hope though - haven't been doing anything extra - mmmm I have two full days to change that... no really you are going great guns - that's great you are seeing a difference in the mirror, and I love the reaction you get from people that haven't seen you in a while....

Haha you'll probably still have the lead. I have been doing parkrun on Saturday mornings but that's the only exercise I usually get in, I just don't seem to find the time. I work 10-11 hrs a day and have 4 kids at home so life is pretty busy! The thing that I think is working most for me is I have been making a big fruit smoothie every morning and drinking it through the day and just having a small lunch. I don't put dairy in, just apples, banana, mango, spinach, and whatever else is in the fridge. I'm really enjoying them and they seem to be making me drop the kgs. I'm not a big fruit eater normally.

78.6!!!!! Good on you, Matt! The scales are going down, down down

You may find the weight is dropping from incidental exercise as well! Running around after 4 kids and working all the time, phewf! Makes me tired just thinking about it

Good on you and keep those numbers going down ;)

a gain of 400gm for me this week - did you jinx me he he he.. I dug my juicer out of my cupboard and have a juice each morning too - apple, carrot, ginger, celery, cucumber, beetroot. and alternate my breakfast each day, one day I will have cereal, usually oats or just right, the next will be eggs, bacon (no fat), one piece of toast, or zucchini, carrot, egg, spices with no toast. tip: if you ever wanted to know there is definitely a difference between buying the tinned whole baby beets and the fresh stuff - I was sick of buying the fresh stuff and it going off in the fridge so this week I brought a big tin of baby beets - the juicer doesn't really juice them they are too soft, here I was thinky I was being savvy - not!!!!!

hope your weight is travelling better than mine - onwards and downwards we go...
