Here I am!

I haven't weighed in in a few weeks now. I really lost interest in it sadly. I have still been pretty good on the diet side but haven't been doing any jogging or walking, I just kind of lost my mojo haha.

I jumped on the scales this morning.......76.9

800g gain over a couple of weeks, I had a big work function last week, it was a pretty big do for the opening of a restaurant. Lots of beer and beautiful food, I'm amazed I didn't put on 2kgs just there!

I guess I had better pull my finger out and get to this bloody goal, I could have done it by now if I hadn't had slacked off!

Thanks for the push along Buttless, I needed it!

oh my god, I have logged on here 3 times to try and post something and every time the damn internet plays up. now my computer tower has decided to go on strike as well - lucky I have the good ole laptop.

Matt, life is meant to be lived and enjoyed just because we are all choosing to live a healthy life doesn't mean we are not going to have a blow out & enjoy lifes little pleasures every now and then - we just have to make sure they come more "every" and not "now". mmm must tell myself that more often   by hook or by crook we are going to finish this thing even if it means one of us will be dragging the other across that finish line - WE WILL DO THIS!!!!

Thanks buttless,

76.5 this morning and that's after dinner last night at what is the sensation of Eat Street in brisbane. Oh my god the food at that place is amazing!

I did my first 5km run in about a month just now, that's going to hurt later but I need it to get to that 75kg!

Very long hours at work this week and no exercise so I'm happy with a small loss. Would love to see a 75.something next week though.

woohoo 5km run that is awesome, yep the muscles will probably be sore but that's a good thing then you know you have worked them :D keep moving that bod and eating the way you are and before you know it that 75kg mark will be yours to own - you can stand on the top podium and shout the to world. have a great week oh and don't work too hard at the office - make sure you get out there and get some "you" time as well :)

That was a good weigh in - specially when you factor in the dinner...must have been one heck of a run! :D

75kg is there for the taking...all you have to do is work hard for it! 8)

Haven't popped in here in awhile so just wanted to say, great going Matt! You are kicking butt and keeping accountable and you will be at goal before you know it! ;)

Sorry for the lack of posts, still 76.5 this morning :(

To be expected though as I seem to fight a against a very busy life :( it's dark when I go to work and it's dark when I get home, so exercise during the week is nil. I went for my 5km parkrun yesterday and beat my best time by more than a minute, so that's given me motivation to try desperately for an early afternoon or two this week to run again before next weeks parkrun and see if I can do even better!

I promise to weight next Saturday regardless of what the scales say, and hopefully it is good news!

Don't be afraid of the dark!
You are still big enough and ugly enough to take care of yourself out there.
Try it...the world at night is a real fun place to exercise...you may became addicted to it! 8)
I do all my running at night...if I'm chased by yobbos I just run faster! Generally they ain't as fit as me these days!
