*cherrydiamond* weigh in

Postby cherrydiamond » Wed May 07, 2014 1:10 pm

Week 1 Starting weight was 112kg! Aaah!

Goal weight: 50kg which means 62 to lose, wow.

Week 2 weigh in: 108.1 = Loss of 3.9kg

We'll see what happens next week. I'll be happy with just one kilo I think!

Doing it in one kilo lots is the recommended amount by the experts. That gives your body enough scope to cope with what you are doing to it. Remember that weight loss is in its essence you putting your body under stress so that it burns off the extra fat. You will however discover that your body will never just plain sail along. You will find that one week you will have a good weight loss, followed by a poorer result. That is usual and natural...so long as it averages out at about one kilo then that is cool. Also you will find that you will shed more kilos easier at the start of your journey and that towards the end you will be working very hard for far little result...so make hay while the sun shines! 8)

You may want to call " Week 1 Starting weight" just "Starting Weight" and "Week 2 weigh in" as "Week 1" because in reality it is one week of weight loss effort. :D

62kg to lose? Don't worry about it...just think when I lost 62kg - I still had another 25kg to go!
Here's a goal to playfully try at...I lost 62kg in 32 and a half weeks - your turn!

BTW - you don't have 62 kilos to lose...it's 58.1kg now! 8)

Was: 153.7kg
Lost: 87kg
Now: keeping it off for life!

Good start and Kim is right, averaging one kilo a week is great going and will ensure the best chance of you keeping it off.. Once you are through the first few weeks you'll get into the swing of things., yeah it looks a long slog ahead but one step at a time and you know it's true what they say, the longest journeys always begin with the first steps ;)

Good luck..
