Hi,

Last week: 95.6kgs
This week: 96.7kgs

Gain 1.1kgs

I have been up and down for about last month and it is really starting to get to me. I want to keep doing what I have been doing as I know I am on the right track...does anyone have any advice? A few people have mentioned to me that it is my body "readjusting" itself and that I am probably gaining muscle too which is making me gain some weeks but still losing overall...

HI Fluffy
never fear- we are all here for you!! maybe if you tell us what your eating is like and exercise and then we might be able to offer some suggestions? its hard because i know you would be doing all the right things. it could be a number of things from muscle, to fluid , bigger portion sizes, too many treats etc etc. keep smiling, we will work it out :)

Hi Kate,

Thanks for the support (again!). I am mainly sticking to a low carb program - having absolutely LOVED all types of carbs all my life. I spoke to my personal trainer and he asked to me make note of what I have been eating for the last 7 days which I have done. He looked at it and concluded that I wasn't eating enough. I am doing about 2 hours of exercise a day and he believes that for that amount of exercise my body is holding onto the fat that I have because of the recent loss I have had. I am not sure if any one has experienced this before but I actually find it hard to eat more than I am - even though some times I do forget to have "enough" in my meals

Had lost 1kg down to 74 as of last week but think this week (or next week for this thread) will be up - see confessional
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!
