Group Weigh-In 10/11

Postby Fairie » Thu Nov 10, 2005 3:50 pm

Hi everyone,

Missed last weeks weigh-in so I have lost .900 in 2 weeks.

Very happy with that as I had a few to many celebrations for making the 20kg loss mark. :D

Wow

In my first week of weigh in I have lost 4 kilos. I have to say that I have to really give this forum a big pat on the back for being there for me and it was and is SO comforting to know that whenever it is tough I can come and read or post. THANK YOU

YIPPPPEEEEE

Feeling strong and feeling so much better, pants are getting "roomier" and still no one has said anything!!! Oh well....there will come a day!!!!

I was also fluctuating this week - but I believe it could have been due to taking more fluids in during the day - and more roughage.

So don't worry too much about it now - give the scales a miss for a few days or even a week - then you will see a change.

You are doing really well.

Cheers

Hi Emma, I know you already know this but you said you needed to refocus so I thought I'd put in this reminder, it'll probably help us all.

Whether we are trying to lose five pounds or more than 50, the same simple laws of physics determine whether or not we will lose weight and how fast our weight loss will occur.
Remembering these guidelines and putting them into practice can lead to weight loss without the aid of any special diet plans, books, or medications.
Our weight is determined by the amount of energy that we take in as food, and the amount of energy we expend in the activities of our day.
If we're slowly gaining weight over time, it's likely that our caloric intake is greater than the number of calories we're burning through our daily activities.
