Thank you all for being such wonderful people - so encouraging, eager and for being there when we need it the most!
Yesterday afternoon I had a major workout with my personal trainer - I think he thought I was a football player LOL - he had me lying on my back on the floor and he was throwing me a ball (it weighed 5 kilo's) and I could not throw it back to him, it was too heavy for my puny-arms - so he reduced the weight of the ball and that was fine - by the end of the session we had another go with the heavier ball and I was amazed, I actually managed to throw it back to him!
I arrived back home totally pooped but felt good at the same time.
But this morning - I did my normal things, checked on the animals - grabbed a coffee - thought I had better just jump on the scales and have a look and again I was totally thrilled - down past the 80 kilo mark - 79.9!
This is one of the happiest days - as you know I have crohns disorder and for the last 6 years I have been told that the medication I am on will gain me some weight and the weight will not come off! My GI told me that with a lot of hard work and determination it should come off - and it has!
Thanks again my friends for being there when need it the most.
Cheers and have a great weekend..
