Hello everyone

I am new and I thought I would just pop in and say Hi. I have over 50kgs to lose and I need to do this for me alone and I know that I will be able to reach this goal with a little help and support. I live in a very small country town and find it hard to have time to myself. We only get fresh fruit and veges here once a week and the price of these fresh items is astronomical. Well anyway hope to talk to you all again soon.

Hi splue and welcome to the forum. The fresh produce thing has got to be hard. I take for granted the proximity and price here in Melbourne.

All the best for your weightloss journey :)

Hi Splue and welcome to the forum! That must suck with the fresh food thing :( All i can say is that at least then you won't be able to afford extra portions!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

Hello! :) I picked the number 50kg too - it sounds big, doesn't it? But once you get started, there's no stopping you! ;) I'm also originally from a tiny country town - just in Canberra for uni - and I know what you mean!!! There's also the lack of facilities and stuff. But we get the advantage of it being such a nicer place to live! ;) Hope to see you round!

Welcome and good luck!

I can imagine it must be tough getting good fresh produce. Like some of the others said we take it for granted in bigger cities.
