Hi I'm new

Postby ranger 2 » Mon Oct 22, 2007 10:06 pm

Hi I am a stay at home mum with a wonderful 21.5 month old. I really require some motivation and support to loose some weight. I went to the dr today and I am 15-20kg overweight.

Any advice and help would be much appreciated
Thanks Jodi

Hi Jodi and welcome to the forum! Maybe start with a food and exrcise diary so you know exactly where you are to start with, then you can make gradual changes from there
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

I too have a toddler and have stuggled in the past year to keep the weight off, i got down 10kg below my goal weight and then piled on 12.5kg, i am only 1.8kg from my goal weight this time, yay me.

i think the food and exercise diary are an great idea as i have doing that there is a great website that i use called to record my exercise and food intake.

Another idea i had is going to or any site that tells you how many calories you need to eat for weightloss.

hope this helps
