Hey guys. Been browsing these forums and i must say you guys are terrific support to eachother. Weightloss is NOT easy...there's no quick fix unfortunately. I know because i've been a weight issue girl my whole life - then after putting on extra weight from medication i recently lost around 25 kilos and almost got to my goal weight and then due to other committments stopped going to the gym and slowly put most of the weight back on! its really depressing but i've put myself back on the wagon for summer and hopefully the rest of my life this time...

having read a lot of other posts i know there's heaps of people out there with similar stories i guess...but its hard because you get to a stage where its total up and down emotionally - and then that connects to the food you eat and what you feel your self worth is. Anyways i'll look forward to posting more messages i guess :) take care guys!

CC x (3 kilos lost so far!)

i know! the biggest is when u put on your size 14 jeans n look like a muffin man instead of the vixen you thought you were haha. I have a new trick - now that i can squeeze back into them i stuff socks down the sides to stretch them out a bit! damn wranglers :D

Hi CC :)

I know what you mean about putting weight on.. I lost 30kg two years ago and I seem to have put 10kg back on just during winter this year! It's so disappointing...

But we will get there! Great work on the 3kg down so far! See ya round the forum :)

thanks heaps ladies :) (and gents if theyre out there)

i have an incredibly busy SOCIAL life style. That's my biggest problem oh and i love to over indulge :P once i get into the zone though i'm usually okay as long as i don't stray off the path. Do any of you get obsessive over it? That's my worse thing, i'm trying to not do that this time because i think that's my worse enemy really. I put myself on the bootcamp of weightloss!

And i am a diet bible. Well thats what my friends think anyway :) i started going back to the gym n it felt incredible i forgot how much i actually enjoyed the exercise - its just after a long day of work its hard to march your tush there :/

Hi CC and welcome to the forum! I don't so much get obsessed as I just make it part of my lifestyle, so I barely think about it these days. Sometimes I do have to catch myself (like the last few days) and refocus, but generally, things are habit now. When I started out though it took a lot of focus and thought to get it to habit stage.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

yeah that's probably the best way to make it stick :)

i'm being more nice to myself about it. Everyone has bad days but the most important thing is to get back up on the bangwagon right :D
