Hi, I'm new!

Postby flutterby » Sun Nov 04, 2007 9:20 am

Hi all :D

I'm a 26 yr old stay at home mum to miss 2 and mr 9 months. I have struggled with my weight FOREVER, but the weight I was when I first started 'dieting' (73kg) I would love to be now!

On the day I had my son, I weighed in at 120kg  , and have since got down to 89.4kg. Looking for lots of support, and chats, and laughs :P

My first question is, how do you get the cool little diet tickers? I have created one, but am having trouble posting it in my profile????

Hi, welcome aboard!

Well done on your weight loss so far - that's 30kg, a MAMMOTH effort, way to go!!! :D

Tickers - there's usually a link you can cut and paste into your signature in your profile here.. try looking in the help section on this forum, I think there's a thing about tickers there.

Thanks for the welcome Kim and Mandie :D

I wish I could take credit for the huge loss, but a lot of that came off with bub, and a STACK of fluid loss over the following 2 months. I started Weight Watchers in March at 102.4kg and got down to 90kg, and then stopped going and put back on 5kg.

So, back I trotted on 22/08/2007 at 95.4kg  and it has been up and down since then. I have been spending time on the Weight Watchers forum, but it is pretty quite. I'm am determined to do this for myself and my kiddies and am looking for all the support I can get.

Hope to chat with you all alot!

Hi Flutterby and welcome to the forum! Congrats on your loss so far...I can't imagine 30kg was ALL due to fluid retention and baby!!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

I am a stay at home mum to a terror of a 4 year old (connor :D) My god 30 kgs! Congratulations on losing that! I agree with Tegan, surely 30kg couldnt all be fluid??? I remember being weighed the day I had connor at 129.9 kgs  but I did lose about 9kg in the next 3 days or so  Nevermind hun, its a starting point :) You are doing so well! :D Keep it up! I look forward to getting to know you ;) xx
