yeah another newbie

Hi everyone, i just stumbled across this site as i am looking for some motivation...after being overweight all my life, i joined the gym and after approx 2 years i have lost 30 kilo's, however for the last few months i have just stopped losing weight, it's actually quite depressing as i feel i am slipping back into my old emotional eating cycle (eating crap co's i cant lose more weight dumb i know) i havnt actually put on weight and i have maintained it for a over a year but im going here i am looking for some motivation and understanding from people who know all about it. :)

hey miss welcome to the group. well done for not putting the weight back on! plateaus can be depressing. maybe you need to mix things up a bit??

Hi! 30kg is a massive loss so congrats for that. You will find heaps of support on this site and people are bound to have lots of suggestions to help you get through this tough time!

Hi Miss and welcome to the forum! 30kg is a big loss and I know what you mean about getting stuck! I've been stuck 5kg from goal for around a year now :shock:
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

thanks everyone for being so welcoming and supportive, i have been pretty good since i joined on sunday i have been to gym everyday even yesterday :D Thanks again!!
