hi there all,

im just starting to navigate through the site,
i have been trying to find something to motivate me and have felt too embarrased trying to find some support.

i have put on 20kg and held on to it for the last 4 years.
and enough is enough..i have had a relationship breakdown in relation to my weight and how i feel about myself..
i have to lose this weight, i want to smile again, and see who i am in the mirror and not want to turn away from it...

i know im not the only one out there. having some support will really help me.
look forward to giving my support to others also.

You're most definitely not the only one!

You can do this. Take it one day at a time, and make some small changes that become habits. Aim at 1-2kg of weight loss per month, and you'll be doing well... studies have shown that if you lose weight slowly, you're more likely to keep it off because the changes you have made are likely to be more manageable!

Best of luck, and welcome! :)

No, you're really not the only one!

I'm here because my boyfriend told me to lose weight - although i need to myself, but him telling me pushed me to do it.

So i'm here with you today and for the rest of our journey :D

We can do this together :D

welcome to the forum! As the girls above have said, you are not alone!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
