Hey everyone,

I am 18 and have been wanting to loose weight for a long time now. I used to be toned and healthy until I gave up dance 3 years ago, since then I have gained 15kg. Although I understand that the weight naturally comes with age, 65kg at my age and height of 5"2 is unhealthy to me. I'm not easily motivated and I go out for dinner at least once a week. I've started using the Weight Watchers point system, has anyone else found this helpful?

I hope hearing from others with similar goals to me will help in my aim to loose those 10kg.

Welcome Meg. I look forward to hearing about your progress.

I'm not doing WW but there are others in here who are. Maybe check out the diet talk section so see if anyone has posted in there about it.

Good luck!

Hi Meg and welcome!

I am normally following WW points sytem (have stopped temporarily due to finances) and I love the program.

Are you going to meetings or doing it by yourself?

And getting older doesnt necessarily mean you have to accept weight gain!! My mum is in her late 50's and is very fit and slim!

Welcome Megs, I'm doing weight watchers as well but I'm doing the Core Plan. I might on a later date switch over. Good luck with your weightloss!
