Hey, Another newbie.

Postby Amaranthine » Tue Dec 11, 2007 1:14 pm

Hey everyone.
I was randomly searching the internet about weight loss and found this forum, and obviously, thought I would sign up.
My name is Rhianna, I live in Brisbane.
I'm 18 years old and I have a 2 year old daughter, and a partner named Sarah.
I don't have scales in my house - they scare me.
I weighed myself a few weeks ago and I was approximatly 100kgs.. I think a few over.
I'm not a very tall girl either, so I'm obviously wanting to lose some weight.
I put on over 40kgs in my pregnancy, and have had a hard time losing it, as I also have had my thyroid gland removed and have to take tablets to replace that hormone, but my levels still arent the best.
I hope I make some good friends on this forum, I've already seen some great advice in what I've read through.

Rhianna.

I'm hoping if I come on here regularly enough it will help me to know what I need to do to lose some weight.
I'm not sure how much I want to lose, but I guess I'll know when I get there.
The main unhappiness I have with my body is my hips, muffin top hips most would call them.

Yeah I'll bet that it's going to be a huge thing for me when I lose this stupid muffin top.
I'm not a little girl anywhere else either really but I'd be happier even if I just lost that.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys :)

Hello! :) Welcome!!!

I was just wondering where your screen name comes from! :) It's very pretty. But I think I recognise it from somewhere... I think Amaranth is a dragon in Anne McCaffrey??? Or did you just make up something to sound cool? :D

When I was in highschool I was randomly looking in a thesaurus and found it.

It means:
Eternally beautiful and unfading; everlasting.

Or a deep shade of purple or something...

Glad you like it
