Hi everyone........

Postby Mp » Sun Feb 26, 2006 5:15 pm

Just came across this forum and I thought to give it a go.

I am male in my early 40s and I am follwing up on one of my new year's resolutions to lose weight.

From 1st of January to now I lost 17.8 Kg. I am still a fair distance away from my target which is 40 Kg.

I got the rest of the year to get there.

Hi MP,

welcome aboard our boards!

Congrats on the weight loss thus far.

Please share with us the things that have worked for you in losing your initial weight, some of us may be able to take something positive from your experience which may work for us as well.

Likewise, if there's anything you need, such as home-grown tips, support etc, you'll find an abundance of it here on the weightloss forum.

Again, great to have you on board and I look forward to hearing all about your current and future weight loss and health successes.

Ed. :D

Thanks for the warm welcome by everybody.

Regarding 'Ed's comment, I have set myself a limit of 7060Kj energy intake for each day and no other food restrictions. It was tough for the first week or so to get to below this limit but at the moment, I have no problems.
I find that losing weight is 20% planning and 80% determination.

Again, so far so good.
