Getting in early - New Years Resolution

Postby LookingGreat2008 » Fri Dec 28, 2007 6:55 pm

Hi everyone,

Site looks great!

I feel like I have been dieting all my life and its time to get really serious.

My danger time is in the evening after the kids are in bed and I am watching TV or if I'm really tired. The new plan is to have a chat on the forum or go to bed early. Any other tips?

Look forward to our journeys together.

K

Hi and Welcome!

Night time is the hardest time for me too. I've found forum time over a cup of green/mint tea to be really helpful :)

Welcome to the forum :)

I too struggle with the evenings. I find having a few glasses of water can help.
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Ha, ha!! you guys are so funny!!

I hadn't realized I was rhyming, I was just after a positive mantra.

I am loving this site, makes me feel really accountable, I keep thinking 'no, you don't want to post a disappointing score, first week and all!'

'Have another glass of water.'

'Check the forum' and then before you know it its meal time again!!

welcome to the forum..... jumping on the forum when the kids are in bed works really well with me, I love to eat when the day comes to an end, so jumping on the forum and reading and posting helps me to remember my goals :D and brings me to focus

I'm glad the forum is helping you too! I'm the same, I work towards what I WANT to post in my exercise and food diary so I can get all those positive comments on my weigh in day.

You sound so determined, you'll be there in no time and you will look not great, but FABULOUS in 2008 :D
