Hey everyone!!

First off I would like to say how awesome you guys are and I think each of your successes are totally wonderful and you're all such an inspiration to everyone else here including me.

My name is Katie, I'm 19 from Brisbane and I'm here because after sooo many years of being overweight I'm finally ready to do something about it (for good this time). My heaviest was and is around 120kgs (which I've pretty much maintained since I was 12!) I've recently joined the gym with my brother and am trying to keep to a lifestyle change 'diet'. I also enjoy walking my dog, bushwalking and canoeing (unfortunately I don't get to do these two as much I would like but I'm going to try), horse riding and swimming.

I have a wedding to go to in October and ideally I would love to lose at least 20kgs.

I think that pretty much sums me up.

K.

I'm also 19 and enjoy some of the same things that you do, bush walking and swimming.

Hey Katie, i need to lose about 20kg as well. Its hard when theres such a long way to go!
I havent been having huge success with the scales dropping on me, but i have toned up...have lost 21.5cm in the last couple of weeks. Its worth taking measurements if your not already, because anything that can encourage you will keep you going!
Personally, my encouragement is the fact that my husband cant seem to leave me alone at the moment! sometime i think it might be dangerous to my personal space to loose anymore!!!!!!!!!
