OMG I'm the Fattest Mum at Kindy!!

Postby blickstar » Mon Feb 04, 2008 4:50 pm

First Day for my 2nd at Kindy... i know i was definately more nervous then my boy!! All the other mums looked trim lovely an terrific. My 3rd child is nearly 9mths so i'm far from using i just had a baby line...lol
So I bit the bullet an went an got the Kate Morgan diet. I singed up with a fat consultant who was in a hurry an couldn't be bothered. didn't even tell me my BMI.
Off to a really great start. when i asked if she'd done the program she's like yeah but i didn't really follow it an i've got my own issues to deal with at the moment..... Yay now i'm really motivated..... gawd i need some encouragment we only have one chemist that sells the stuff here so my visions of a weekly pat on the back for being good are shattered. Any ideas??
blickstar.
ps anyone know how to get the ticker meter on here i made it on the site right clicked to select copy came on here to paste an i couldn't get it to work.

The thing with those Chemist based plans is that most of the consultants are just chemist staff that wear a different shirt!!

when I was doing Tony Ferguson I bought my shakes off a girl who was about 15 and didn't have a clue about the program!!!

I think you can get info etc off the Kate Morgan website.

Good luck!

I had to stop with the TF shakes as I got really sick on them and missed too much time off work!! But not everyone gets affected like that!

Hi blickstar! I hope your little boy is enjoying kindy! :)

I can't say much about chemist based plans (I've only ever dieted on my own steam), but if you need encouragement hopefully you can get it at these forums! I've only been here a few days and I'm blown away at the kindness and support of the amazing and diverse people in this community. I'm so excited about my second weigh-in on Saturday! (Maybe it's silly of me to get so excited about a weigh-in, but I've never had anybody to share it with before that might half way care :P)

As for your ticker, if you were getting it from tickerfactory.com, the last page should have some source code that you can select -- one should say "BBS" and one should say "HTML". You need to select and copy the line that has [.img]http://www.tickerfactory.com/some/pathname/yourticker.png[/img.] (except without the extra dots in the image tags). What most of the people here have done is paste that line into their signature, which you can change through the User Control Panel link at the top.

You can PM me (or of course an admin/mod) if you have any trouble.

Hi Blickstar,

Good luck with the weight loss, You really should be getting more support from the girl at the chemist. If they are gonna call themselves consultant then they should do it properly, you can't just decide your to busy to find out someones bmi if thats what your being paid for! You'll definately find the support and encouragement here. Anytime my motivation has sagged i look at the progress page and see how everyone is doing It works a treat.

Don't worry according to my darling 18 mth old daughter I'm a before photo!!

As she was flicking through 1 of my slimming mags she came across a chick (who admittedly did look similar me) and pointed her little finger at the before photo a goes "mummy, mummy" I closed the mag and she went through it again and again straight to the before photo "mummy, mummy". My heart did sink a bit but I figure you can't have a fabulous after photo without to hideous before.

I did the Tony Ferguson Diet late last year and lost around 6 kilo in a few weeks but didn't have the energy to do alot of exercise (which is NOT recommended while your on the diet) I didn't think it was a really safe and long term way to loss weight so stopped and have put the weight back on. The consultant I had at the chemist was fatter than me and I thought that spoke volumes.

I'm now on a bit more of a exercise gym junkie (home gym that is) regime which at least makes me feel good. I'm considering joining the new fancy gym in my area. I figure at least the consultants/trainers at the gym are buff not puff!

Haven't heard about the Kate Morgan Diet I hope it's a success for you or at least a good kick start to acheiving your goals.
