Welcome Serenity,

Well done for losing 4kgs in a month with very little exercise.

I suffer from Chronic Fatigue Sydnrome which, not unlike Chronic Fatigue, makes exercising difficult, some days impossible. I've lost about 6 kgs in the last 3 months - slow and steady that's my motto!

Anyway, look forward to chatting to you in the forum,
Angel

Hey guys, thanks for the replies and support!
angel, i too have CFS, i tend to shorten it which i have been told is naughty, not helping other people realize its a syndrome. But yeah, its hard, however i find its heaps easier if i DO do something, even 5 mins on the exercise bike each day. If one is too bad, i make sure im back up there the next day....to many days relapsed just makes it impossible to keep going!
Anyhoo, feeling positive this morning, and every day is a new day!

Hey Serenity,
The way I understand it Chronic Fatigue and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome are actually two different things. CFS is chronic fatigue with a whole lot of other symptoms, which of course vary from person to person.

Relapse days are the pits. Yet I still find it so hard to stop myself from over doing things when I'm having a better day.

I just try to move as much every day as I can, some days its a little, some days its more than a little. After all, we can only do what our body allows us to do - if only it was a mind over matter thing we'd be cured in no time!!!

I'm eager to hear how you've lost 4 kgs in a months with minimal exercise - care to share your secret???

Cheers,
Angel

Hi Angel! How did i loose 4kg with CFS? Slowly and painfully! Hence my signature 'to trudge'! Thats my day to day motto! Probably the biggest thing that has helped is getting my eating under control. Im a bit of an emotional snacker, so if i was having a lousy day (every second or so!) I'd eat naughty stuff. So, not doing that any more has helped, ive also ci\ut down the quantity. I also try and do at least 10 mins a day on my exercise bike. Some days are damn hard, sometimes i just cant, but mostly i try and ignore the pain and tiredness and DO IT. I know i'll be better for it. Im not saying that this will work for you...im very lucky and know that my CFS is not as bad as some people get it. But i suppose my point is that you have to find something that works for your CFS situation, and go for it!
