HI I AM NEW AND TODAY I JOINED KATE MORGAN

Postby kittypurr » Sat Mar 08, 2008 11:58 am

HI THERE I AM NEW TO THIS FORUM AND HAVE JUST JOINED KATE MORGAN THIS MORNING. apart from the fact that I was embarrased that I weighed in at 116 kilos the lady was very nice and helpful. I suffer from osteo arthritis so I need to get some weight off now. I am 43 and would love some help from other people that are doing either this program or something similar.

Hi Thanks heaps for replying, have just had my first shake and a salad for my lunch, have got friends
coming over for a bbq tonight so that will be a test. They will bring all the yummy nibbles stuff, so thought
I would do some vegies sticks or something.
Anyone got any other tips?

Good luck. I have found that entertaining & socialising are tough. BUT, BBQ's are the best, as it is easy to go without carbs.....

There is a big thread here on Kate Morgan:

I am on Kate Morgan and have been since the New year and I am loving it!

The very best of luck!

I have just completed my very first week of the Kate Morgan program. I was thrilled to learn that I had lost 3.1kg in my first week! Hope the rest of the weight drops off just as easy. I havent found it too bad but must admit that I do miss my pasta and bread! Just wondered if any one has some tips on what to cook at meal times as thru the day it is rather easy but I dont want to get bored eating the same ole thing. I have tried soooo many times before and always got to goal weight but for some reason I just cant seem to stay motivated enough to keep it off. This time I am determined to really make a lifestyle change. I dont know about anyone else but have 3 small children I find it hard to cook meals that everyone enjoys. They would live on pasta if they could and thats the one thing that you cant have being on this program. Anyway good luck to all of you who are on this treadmill of weight loss. I hope that we can all support each other.

Hey all :)

I started KM last week, have my first weigh in on Friday!

Had a GREAT dinner last night, i was craving something creamy and savoury so i thought id use my mustard allowance-
mix some dijon mustard with some water and rosemary and cut your chicken breast into small pieces- marinate for a while then cook with onion- had it with steamed veg- soooo yum!! and it tasted so naughty!

Good luck everyone :)

Hi, and welcome
I am 54 and joined Kate nearly three weeks ago and have lost just over 4 kgs.I'm sure you will find it works for you.
because I lost weight from the first week, my motivation level has stayed up too.Have lost around 14 cms so far!
I have been on weight watchers, and Calorie King (with some success). but with Kate Morgan I have found if you have the soup (that you can have anytime!) after your lunch time shake, this keeps the hunger pangs away! the only thing I have really missed is fresh bread. but I have been trying to lose weight for years and this is the only one which I have had any REAL success with. So good luck with Kate Morgan!
will be interested in your progress...good luck
