Hello Everyone, My name is Olivia and I am FAT!

Postby Livy » Thu Apr 20, 2006 9:18 pm

Thought you might enjoy a bit of subject line humour!!

Now, I don't actually start my diet until next week, so I just wanted to get 'set up' so to speak before all my 'stuff' arrives, and get nice and comfy in here.

I will give you all a breif run down.

I am a 30 year old mother of 2, carrying 30 extra kilos.
I haven't been 55kgs (my ideal size 10 weight) since I was 18.

I have put on weight gradually over the years, until I hit 87kgs. I lost 7 on Admin Censored, then put it all back on. Then I did Tae Bo and lost 5kgs, now I have put 3 back on.

I gave up smoking nearly 2 years ago, and this also didn't help.

I love to eat... I have a good diet, just eat too much... my big drama is portion control. Instead of having 1 bowl of stirfry, I eat 3 until I feel like I will burst.

Anyway, I could talk for hours, and I obviously will at some stage, but at this moment, I just want to say Hi and introduce myself.

Thanks Dolly. I am sure we will. I aim to do Tae Bo again, I think it's just brilliant, and I am young and flexible enough to do this. What sort of exercise do you plan on doing?

I have a pulled sciatic nerve hurting from my left knee to my hip so I'll just have to do floor exercises as I'm having trouble sitting, laying down and walking. Last time I had this it took 3 weeks to go away, I've had it for 1½ weeks so far.
We have a Daily Exercise Diary to record our stuff on here - http://www.weightloss.com.au/forum/viewforum.php?f=11

Hi and welcome. You have the same name as my stepdaughter :D

This place is good to get help when you need it.

My problem was also mainly portion control. Now instead of filling my plate so there isnt just a little bit leftover i take from my plate until there is enough leftover for another meal. I started walking all the time to lose weight but have been unmotivated lately. Just started Martial Arts which is fantastic so i do that once a week, circuit traning twice a week and when i have the energy i go for a walk.

Good luck and hopefully this can be the start of the answer you have been looking for :D
