I am just another perosn trying to loss weight and change my life forever.
I have been on my weight loss journey since September last year. They weight losss has been very slow i must admit, but that's ok. What i have lost is staying off.
It's been very gradual and steady. The changes i am making in my life stayle have been many and wonderful changes.
My eating and physical activity before September were a shaking combination.
My diet consisted of NO breakfast, (i just hated the thought of eating anything of a morning), i would drink coffee all day long, and maybe a sweet biscut every now N then. NO lunch unless i was meeting friends and dining out. Then, by 3pm i would start feeling hungry. Maybe i would have a sandwhich or something, or most times i didn't.
Then i would eat dinner of an evening with the family.
I would enjoy an alcoholic beverage most nights but can not drink unless i have something to eat with it: Chips etc!
NOT GOOD EH!!!
Then, to add to the mix... I didn't do any exercise at all.
My metabolism was ZERO< i am sure of that.
I woke up tired before i even did anything.
But i have turned that all around.
As i said, the weight loss has been slow and gradual but i feel so much better then i have for years.
All the little changes i have made, like eating properly.
i have cut out coffee and vertually ALL softdrink from my life. I might have 1 glass of softdrink a week.
Vertually NO alcohol anymore, meaning No nibblys. (GOOD THING)
I only use skinny milk, wholegrain bread etc.
And as far as the exercise goes, i now attend a local gym twice a week doing low impact, cardio circut classes.
I go to the pool once a week and i walk most days other then that!
I can walk 10km now.
I started out at 97.8kg and now weight about 91kg.
I have a ways to go yet, but i will enjoy the journey as i get there.
I'll be happy to get to 80kg for a start, and anything from there will be a bonus.
