Since the discussion is about weight loss, some of you may be interested in my own expereince - something which I wrote a little ebook about.
Basically I went on what was essentially a wheat free diet, and averaged around a weight loss of 1 kilo a week for 6 weeks and then 2 more kilos over the following four weeks.
I thought that was pretty impressive - particularly given that I wasn't exercising a lot, but I was eating normally!.
