As for the dried fruit my trusty calorie counter says 50grams of dried fruit is approx 98-150 calories. Obviously this is a guide for dried fruit in general. Wether it effects your weight loss I can't really say as I think you need to factor in your daily calorie intake and exercise. For me, it is good to be aware of what calories are in the food I eat especially if snacking. The easiest way to put me off a bar of choccie is to tell me how many calories it has.
