Hi all :D

I'm very new to this and hoping that everyone is going well with their weight loss goals
I need to lose 39 kilo's in total, but my hubby is sending me on a trip to Scotland next March and i need to lose about half of that by then (if at all possible).
I have 3 kids, and i'm studying and renovating a home, so if anyone has ideas on how to keep motivated they will be muchly appreciated. Also, can anyone tell me how to count calories or have info on how to do so, as i'm hopeless at it...lol :D
Hope to get some support on here
Take Care

Hello and welcome :D .
A lot of people recommend the calorie king website for calorie counting but my personal preference is the little calorie and fat counter books. You can pick one up from the newsagent or at some supermarkets.

hi candie,

welcome to the forum. it sounds like u have lots on ur plate- kids to run after, studying to do and a household to maintain. eeek!!! i'm sure ur getting a lot of incidental exercise by simply running after the kids.

as for counting calories: people on this site seem to use calorie king, but i'm unable to use it coz i'm not within australia. i have a handy little book of calories which fits snugly into my handbag and i can take it wherever i go. its very useful and covers any food under the sun.

all the best with ur weightloss.

kat :-) :-)

Hi, I ocassionally look in the Calorie King book, but mainly I just have my three meals, hardly any carbs, but if I really feel like something, definetly just now and then, I will have it so that I don't feel like I am being denied anything.

This is my first major goal.
Next one is to get under 80kgs.
Finally, somewhere around 60kgs.
