Im new

Postby beanie » Thu Aug 28, 2008 12:51 pm

Hi

Im a newbie here.

I weighed myself this morning at 74.7kgs. Now, for a 161cm girl, its too much. I carry all my weight around the middle so I could be mistaken for a slightly pregnant lady!! Its happened before. So embaressing.

So, here I am!! Im getting married in 5.5 months and would like to be 10kgs lighter for that. Its doable I think. I will be on here most days checking in and hopefully gaining some inspiration and offer advise.

Looking forward to 'meeting' you all

Hi, and welcome, I am relatively new here as well, but have been on the weight loss wagon for a long time. Good luck with your goal, and your upcoming wedding. :D

This is my first major goal.
Next one is to get under 80kgs.
Finally, somewhere around 60kgs.

Thanks

Im really enjoying floating around, reading everyones stories etc. Its a great motivator, keeps me totally focused!!! Which is hard at work, I work in Customer Service and Im an emotional eater. So, if someone upsets me at work I will most likely go next door to the lovely bakery and drown my sorrows in a pie/sausage roll/cream bun (sometimes all of them  ). Now I plan to come on here and read your posts and get back on track.

Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Hi Beanie

I'm also a new member and have found myself online all day haha

The stories are tremendously encouraging and you'll find the weight drops off quick if you stick to you plan.

Hope to hear more updates from you.

Hi Beanie welcome to the forum. I'm a long term member that has been on a bit of a hiatus for a while, but this site can be really helpful!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

Thanks heaps guys, feeling abit outta control today. Am going out for dinner with some old work mates tonight. Am hoping to mkae the correct decisions. Abit worried actually. But no that I WILL NOT have a drink(I will be driving) so I guess that will help. Am planning a big walk in a minute so hopefully I will be ok.

Thank for the welcomes I am already finding myself on here more than anticipated
