Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would introduce myself. I am 25, I am 20kg over my ideal weight. Last year I lost 20kg, I have put about 2-3kg back on. I have PCOS, so from what I have read and my Dr have told me, I think I am doing well.

I hope that I can get some motivation from you all!

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm turning 24 this year and as you can see had 40kg or so to lose. If you don't mind me asking, what is POCS? I'm sure I'll know when you say it, but it's just not clicking with me at the moment....I've had a long, hard day at work today

Look forward to seeing you in the forum
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)

Well I will tell you what PCOS is.... PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome! PCOS for short. Makes it extremely difficult to lose weight, as well as causing pain! And no I don't have it, just have one very very annoying cyst that gives me a hard time every now and then. Losing weight, in some cases, will sort of get rid of the PCOS, apparently. So you have done extremely well nmv to lose the 20kgs. I am sure your doctor has told you about being an ideal weight for your height will possibly help your PCOS. So my hat is off to you for doing so well. We will endeavour to help you lose the rest of the weight that you wish to lose. :D

Keep Smiling!!!
