hi everyone

my name is tanya and i am 35 years old. i have been overweight as long as i can remember. i am so careful though that my daughter will not be the same way. i am so sick of starting a diet and then no succeeding. i have tried everything including weight watchers.

i so want to succeed with this. i need to do this as i weigh close to 147 kg and the most that i have ever lost is 11 kg. i am looking forward to doing well this time.

i so need to do some exercise as well, but i am just so exhausted when i get home from work as i start at 4.30 am.

any ideas would be good.

how do you know how many calories that you need per day.

First of all welcome and good on you for starting your journey.
I would suggest seeing your doctor for some good advice and maybe jumping on a site like Calorie King, which is awesome and has some GREAT plans and motivational info.
Good Luck.

Hell and welcome, as yoyo said have a look at the calorieking website and have a play around with things. I myself had a lot to lose (more than you) but I'm getting there. I found the more I lost, the more it spurred me on. Once you get into the swing of things there's no going back :D . Good luck.
