A new start

Postby chucky » Mon Oct 13, 2008 6:13 pm

I have introduced myself before, but I have hardly used this forum, so thought I might redo it.

My name is Melanie and tommorrow my diet starts. I am 28 and married. I plan on losing 15 kilos and then see where I want to be in life. I have realised I really need to do this as most of my clothes are to small now and its so depressing  But I am not going to sit on my bum anymore and keep eating crap. I am pumped to do this, and I know I can, and I am so excited.

I have given myself 4 months to reach this goal, and to help me along the way, I plan on rewarding myself for every 5 kilos. So far I am going to get my nails and feet done, buy a new set of earrings and when I hit my 15kilos, I will go on a shopping spree for a new wardrobe. I also plan on rewarding myself for milstones, such as reaching 80, 75 and 70. Not sure what they will be but I will make it worth it.

I have been spending alot of time on the net, so I am making it my main aim to come in here every day and chat and also to track my progress.

I look forward to getting to know you all :)

Hey Welcome and good on you for giving it a go. Try to think of it as a Life change not a diet. Diets end Healthy living shouldn't.

Cant wait to hear about your progress.

Hey Melanie. I guess I'm new too this forum. Although I have been lurking for months. (Guess I got up the courage to finally make my first post). Anyway, I've been trying to lose weight too. It's just so hard when you got no one to keep pushing you. So like you, I'm hoping that people will keep motivating me. I know, some of the stories I've read are so inspiring. Hope one day I can do the same for others too.
