Hi All, Well i have finally taken the huge step to get all this excess weight off me. i have a huge amount of weight to lose and i know it is going to take awhile, but i really want to do this for myself, and my son whom i adore.

Hi Angelghost......welcome to the forum. My best word of advice would be to make mini goals. You will feel very good about yourself when you achieve them and you will have more enthusiasm to get to the ultimate weight that you desire.

I agree with Rochelle, mini goals help you with motivation, the challenges and weekly weigh in is great too. The support and advice you'll get from this forum is invaluable. No question is too silly to ask, never be embarrassed because usually there are heaps of us out there wondering the same thing or have experienced the same thing.

There is a wealth of information here as we are all on different diet plans and have different ways of getting to our goals. Have a good look around and don't be shy to jump in, the more the merrier.
