I'm a 20 yr old chicky from Northland New Zealand, and stumbled accross this forum by accident when trying to find some motivation to lose some weight. I think this site is wonderful, and have alredy posted my goal in challenges
. I've always battled with my weight and would really like to tackle it and rule it instead of it ruling me.
I'm just finishing my degree as a registered nurse, and as any of you who have studied might know, you tend to put on a lot of weight and lack exercise when you hit the books. Just 3 years ago I was a fit little chicky, but sadly I found it was easier to eat takeouts while I study for an upcomming exam than to eat a carrot and go for a run (lol). So my goal is to lose it all and be fit and healthy by next summer. I've even thought it would be fun to train for a half marathon! Crazy I know! Hopefully I can keep up the motivation for a whole year.. I'm pretty hopeless when it comes to motivation.. but I'll try.
