Newbie thats struggling

Postby jackiej » Sun Dec 28, 2008 10:44 pm

Hi everyone, I am new here and would like to telll you a little about myself. I am a 44 years old female who has been every size from 10-18 for the past 20 years. At the moment I am seeing a dietitian and have lost 11 kilos since end of September which I am very proud of but Christmas week has been a shocker for me as I was on holidays from work and out of the usual routine. I think I have put up 1 1/2 kilos since I last visited the dietician on 12/12.I had set myself a goal of LOSING 5 kiolos by the time of our next appointment on Jan 22nd.I am returning to work tomorrow and I hope I can pick up the good eating habits again.I have decided to join the forum as I think I will benefit from the moral support from everyone who is also trying to lose weight and who understand how difficult it is. I will post again soon.Bye, JackieJ

Christmas only comes once a year so dont worry about any gain- I also gained weight over the past week but I am not upset as I was away with family enjoying myself and wont be doing it again any time soon. Whatever you gained can always be lost again. You have already done really well! 11kg since end of september is a fantasticeffort, i am sure that with a bit of support you will reach your goal- you will get support here :)
Start weight: 98kg April 2008
22/12/08- 80.7kg
29/12/08- 81.8kg
04/01/09- 81.6kg
12/01/09- 81kg
19/01/09- 80kg
09/02/09- 79.3kg
Next goal 75kg

Thank you Mumnbub,
Today's the day that i start back at work and start going back to the gym and i have decided to not weigh myself for a couple of weeks so hopefully will see a good result when I do weigh in. meant to mention my start weight was 101 kg and am now appprox 91kg- hoping to lose at least another 15 kgs and most importantly keep it off for life.
Will post under the other topics as I go on my journey so see you there.
Cheers,
Jackiej
