I wanna b Hot Hot Hot!

Well im 21 now... getting older :(
And, Im still a big girl... I've just started out with a Personal Trainer in December and so far I've lost 7kg...
The reason behind me finally getting my head out of the mud is because well the boy that I really liked is gone, and now I feel so lonely and that no one else will like me, (to which my best guy friend said that I look good and you will find sum1) but it's more me and how low in self-esteem I have, so yer... Here I am, hoping that we can all encourage each otha a lil' bit!!!

Welcome WarriorsGirl!!! Well I notice that you live in Sydney, so after today's weather I'm sure you're already hot, hot, hot :D

But... me thinks that's not the kind of hot you're after, ha ha. Good luck with your journey and I hope we can help you along your journey and help keep you motivated!

firstly, congrats on the 7kg so far! thats an awsome effort.
My feelings are similar, i think how can anyone learnt to love me when i look like this! The answer? Someone will love you no matter what you look like because its whats inside that counts (ok, so i know its a cleche but its true)- a person will also pick up on your feelings towards yourself, if you cant stand to be around yourself then how can you expect others to want to be around you- thats what kept going through my mind and that is what helped me change. I looked at what i did not like about myself and made a plan to fix those areas, then forgot about them and thought about the areas i did like! now i am a more confidant person even though i still have a lot of weight to lose.
Have you set yourself some realistic goals? if not really think about what you want to achieve (not necessarily just about weight). Good luck and let us know if we can help

I've just joined a challenge thread, 10kg in 10 weeks... put my next goal is to get down to 90kg by February, So I have about 5kg to go...

5kg in two weeks is not healthy, and setting yourself unrealistic goals will only get you down when you don't reach them and cause you to lose motivation. Aim for a healthy loss of .5kg - 1kg a week instead.

yeah 5kg in 2 weeks is a task and a half... i don't think i have even done that

Start date: 12/8/2013
Highest - 144.8kg

Current - 141.3kg

Goal - 110kg

3.5kg lost

Time really does fly- hard to believe Feb is already that close! I kept saying i want to lose 12kg by the end of summer but thats to close so cant lose that much in a healthy way

i did almost 5kg in two weeks but then i put 1kg back on - yeah stick to maybe like 1-2kg per week tops
