Hi every1,

my name's Nadine and I'm married, have 2 boys and we live in Newcastle, NSW.
I started on my weight loss journey last Saturday (17/1/09) after seeing a picture of myself that I was absolutely disgusted with. I am currently the heaviest I've ever been in my life and I don't like it  I weighed in on Sunday (18/1/09) at 87.3kgs and have a goal of losing 20kgs which still won't take me back to where I have been previously but i think it will be enough to make me happier and healthier.
I joined the forum because I have terrible willpower and thought that maybe a bit of support from other people going thru the same thing would motivate me.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and helping each other on the rollercoaster of weight loss

cheers
Nadine

p.s can some1 tell me how to add 1 of those weight loss trackers plz :?

Welcome nadine. I take a size 15 shoe... motivated yet? lol... nah good to have you on board. Photos can be cruel huh? You've come wanting 20kg, right when thats precisely where i'm currently at too, so will keep track of your progress and try to inspire you if i can.

1) Go ahead and create a ticker of your choice from one of the many ticker sites: lilypie.com, tickercentral.com or wherever.

2) Locate the “HTML” code provided once your ticker is generated.

3) Add the HTML code into your signature be clicking "User control Panel" near the top left of this page. Click profile, then edit signature, and place the link in there.

You have to redo the ticker at their end each time you update, which is a pain, and which is why many of us have just chosen to write it like I have.

Good luck, and seeyou round like a frootloop!

Hi Gordz,

thanks for the welcome! :)
I managed to look around and sort out the tracker thingy but I think updating it will be a pain on the rear.
Seeing as we're reaching for the same goal I'll be interested in watching how you are going too.
What methods of weight loss do you use? I'm currently watching my calorie/fat intake, having 5 meals a day with 2 of those substituted with Sleek and Slender shakes that I buy from the health food shop and exercising by walking and playing the Wii (which I have to say is the best game console made, it's so much fun).
Anyways thanks again

cheers

Good stuff nadine. My thread is in the before during and after section of the forum. I'm doing the starvation thing with lots of excercise. Generally just having optislim which leaves me under 500 calories per day, but when I get really hungry i'll have one of my lite n easy meals in a bowl or a salad subway wrap for dinner. I am toootally with you on the wii... I got wii fit for xmas and have been hammering out on that. I find it fantastic. Weightless has been slowly slowing in the past 3 weeks as you can see from the sig, so every night this week i'll be good old fashioned jogging with the fresh air and seeing how i go =)

Welcome! I to just signed up !

I would definatly have to agree that the wii is the best game console ever, I had been goin absolutley nuts on the ski jumps on the wii fit.. but i had to stop for a few days cuz i couldnt walk from sore knees! Im hopefully getting my own wii and wii fit very shortly.

Good luck with your goals and I do hope that you reach them in no time.

It sounds like your doing the right thing, watching your calorie intake, eating regular small meals, exercise... I am sure you will do really well and look forward to hearing about your progress.

Hi KIR57 and mumnbub,

thanks for the reply :)
KIR57 I don't have Wii Fit yet, I tried to get it last Sunday but not 1 single shop in all of Newcastle had 1 in stock  So I've just been playing the games my boys have already got like Mario and Sonic At The Olympics, Samba di Amigo and of course Wii Sport.

cheers
