Hello there

Postby kimbo1 » Thu Feb 19, 2009 10:25 pm

Hi folks,
Have just joined. I'm turning 50 this year & want to finally get some balance & controll with my eating & drop 40 kilos that have been weighing me down for too long. I've been battling my weight for years so please god let this be the time I succeed  I've been following the Gabriel method for a month & its going really well so far. I feel really great, full of energy & have lost 5kg. Hoping to gain & offer some inspiration & motivation.
Kim :)

Hi Kim! Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your time here!

Congratulations on your weight loss so far! I recently borrowed The Gabriel Method from my local library and I love it! I was that impressed I've ordered my own copy from an online bookseller. How are you finding it so far? And what tips do you think have helped you the most?

Thanks guys :)
I'm not sure if its listening to the cd at night or the supplements I'm taking or both - BUT Halelullia! I'm just not craving sweets & carbs as I usually do & am really satisfied eating half the portions I would normally eat. Otherwise I'm eating exactly what I feel like. I havn't yet overcome my resistance to excercise but I'm thinking about doing it a lot - does that count   The thing I'm really delighted with though, is how my energy & vitality (which has been a bit low for a while) has returned & I've regained such a feeling of wellbeing. And its such a relief to just relax &not be obsessing about food & weight all the time. I really do reccomend it.
