Hello You can call me either reckless or tom it doesnt matter. Im 18 curently in adelaide. and I would like to lose some weight so i thought the best thing to do was to join a forum to motivate me! 20-30 KG is my current goal.

I think its great to see everyones little trackers down the bottom and to see how far theyve progressed! i hope to acheive that shortly.

First thing im going to do is buy one of those walking/running things you see in shops so i can do that at home, and some other working out stuff.

Well hope to see ya round the forum. :)

Hi Tom, welcome to the forum! this must be the men's month!! Yay, it's about time the gender imbalance was addressed!
I'm sure if you stick with it you will get to your goal. I look forward to seeing you in the forum!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)

Hello Tom and welcome to the forum.

There is plenty of great info on here so have a good look around. You sound pretty motivated already so well done for getting started. Exercise is definitely a big plus for weight loss in addition to feeling great and having more energy.

thanks guys, I've gone through weight loss before i lost 15 kg's over 3 months. but then i slacked off and put it back on (then extra :? ) This time im gunna keep it off. :)

Way to go mate. Attitude is everything. With the walking machine, you can also rent them. My eldest son, who's a couple of years older than you, did that. It has various exercise options, and you can monitor your pulse, and work out your exercise schedule based on your pulse rate once you get the hang of it.

It beats walking in the streets. Last night a dog took a hold of the back of my leg. Didn't do any damage though.

My wife's sisters all live in Adelaide. The one she speaks to most is in Seacombe Gardens.
