I'm new!

Postby lolliana » Thu Apr 23, 2009 9:41 am

Hi everyone, Just joined up a couple of days ago and have only now got the time to interduce my self, I'm a 26 yo single mum to an 8 year old boy, i'm studying and working full time, hence my lack of time. I was successfull in losing 16kg last year put 3 on this year and have now lost the 3 again this year. This year is proving much harder to lose the weight, being so busy it's easier to just grab something on the way. I am going on a cruise in December and want to lose another 13kg by then, i know it can be done but it's kinda looking impossible atm, i'd love to hear any tips or advice from people who have lost. Thanks guys look foward to hearing from some of you! :D

Perserverance has been the main thing, a positive attitude also goes a long way to success.

My tips are..... three healthy meals a day and snack only fresh fruit and veg- this is what I do, get yourself a pocket calorie ccounter book and carry it with you all the time, sigh up to http://www.calorieking.com.au, even only if you use it to plan your food, invest in some digital kitchen scales and drink lots of water. I also allow myself a sweet treat to the tune of 100-150ish calories each night to help keep me on track although I don't recommend this if you can't 'stop at one'.
Lastly of course make sure youmake time to do some exercise.
